This program provides college premeds an overview of medical school. The program
is 2- 4 hours long and is tailored to the needs of the sponsoring group. In addition,
Dr. Rubin offers lectures on a numerous subjects for premeds ranging from interview
skills to the changes in the new MCAT.
Dr. Rubin’s son Jason graduated from this school in May 2012. This program is 4 hours
long and provides an overview of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery including 10 hands
on experiences ranging from taking vital signs to casing fractured ankles.
is an attending pediatrician at Naperville Pediatric Associates since 1988. He received his B.A. in Biology from New York University, his Ph.D. and M.D. from the University of Chicago where he also completed his pediatric residency. Dr. Rubin is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is on the active staff at Edward Hospital, Naperville IL. Dr. Rubin started his Mini Medical School with his son, Zachary E. Rubin, M.D. , back in 2004. Dr. Zach is now a resident in pediatrics.

This is an intense 8 hour non competitive program designed for students who are just
beginning to consider a career choice or have a limited amount of free time. Students
entering high school to college juniors are permitted to attend this fast paced high
intensity program. Students receive an overview of med school then rotate through
15 experiences and then receive an overview of med school admissions. The app for
